It is confirmed that the suspended equipment under carbody of high speed train are related to the ride comfort of vehicle, vibration severity of equipment. The reason for that is their large mass, able to visibly influence the vibrations of the vehicle. This paper examines the influence of the transformer equipment upon the ride comfort index of vehicle and the vibration severity of equipment considering multi-excitation. These vibration indexes are derived from the numerical simulations developed on a rigid-flexible coupled model using numerical integral method. As a rule, the results prove the influence of the equipment suspension parameters (frequency, position and damping ratio), along with the speed regime, upon the level of ride comfort index of vehicle and equipment vibration severity. Similarly, it is also demonstrated how to select the suspension parameter of equipment considering the dynamic vibration behavior of high speed trains.
