Abstract

Fish eye lens has short focal length and ultra wide viewing angle range, which can greatly reduce the cost of image acquisition when applied to video surveillance, and has great advantages in panoramic image mosaic. The paper studies panoramic mosaic technology based on fish eye image, compares and analyzes the common algorithms of fish eye image correction and image registration, and selects the suitable algorithm to complete the mosaic of monitoring image.
